Shackles

With tough, tested steel-and-alloy construction and rounded surfaces, our shackles are the perfect, wear-eliminating connector between flexible tow straps and hard, sharp-edged anchor points. 

These load-rated shackles with 5/8" to 2 ½" pins meet or exceed impact requirements, reaching working load limits (WLL) of up to 55 tons and capacities of up to 605,000 lbs. Rated for use in temperatures between -40°F and 400°F, they show their resilience in challenging towing, lifting, or recovery situations. 

Our shackles’ heat-treated carbon-steel bows are quenched and tempered with their alloy pins, then hot-dip galvanized. Finally, they’re embossed and stamped with vital information like size, WLL, 45-degree lift markers, and trace code.
